Reversal of fortune

And when it rains it pours.

The job market sledge hammered me yesterday as IT company came a callin' along with a semi evil proposal from a former professor. Semi evil in that I would be working for big tobacco, but it wouldn't be fiddy hours a week (for serious?) as I would with the IT guys. The semi evil job prospect is research, and the wage per hour isn't bad, in fact it's really good. I just have no idea how many hours I'd get. But fiddy hours? That's a lot and I could make my required capital, but I feel like I would hate the world in the meantime.

So the argument here is time vs. money

What is worth it?

What is worth it my existential friends? You are all so smart anyways. Should I sucker punch time in the face? Then I wouldn't get to see anyone and might become a mole tech person and not a flamboyant liberal artist. Obvs, I'm erring on the side of time, but I'll bitch months later when I gots no monies. We'll see my krimpets.* We'll see.

*Read not krumpets in the "tea and" sense, but Krimpets, in the famous Philadelphia Tastykake sense.

The answer to that personal question is personally, I choose time. But there is probably a level of poverty that would make me change my mind.
