ALLEZ ENFANTS
Oh man, I feel like it's time for writing again, mostly because it felt a little bit like spring today.
And feeling like spring snowballed, nay, SPRINGBALLED?, SPRUNG INTO?, SP-RESULTED IN?, a very triumphant feeling walk because of several parts:
1. A long quest for cheap snow pants for snowboarding finally ended. I spent all of last week fucking pissed at Paragon and the concept of skiiiing in general as a rich person's sport because I couldn't find a pair of snow pants for less than a hundred bucks. My good ol' Park Slope local sports shoppery hooked me up. Certain side note def required - why Workoff, god help us, are you looking for snow pants during a triumphant almost spring walk? Well for some reason like the almost skate boarding I took up last year, I'm almost taking up snowboarding. Let's see how it pans before making assumptions/mind promises.
2. Getting a coffee on the house at Gorilla Coffee AND the first iced latte of the season.
3. Seeing Eugene Mirman on 5th Ave. Infinitely more important to Ramsey than me, but fodder enough for the rest of you indie comic lovers.
Maybe that's it. Justifiably you can add these up and with no remainders, there's a big ball of indie yuppiedom staring back at you. Wow. I've reckoned with this fact over the past few months that I'm becoming a young indie yuppie- a square with really cool fucking shades and a nerd day job. Rest assured, we try to squeeze in punk rock moments throughout the day. Safe to say that even having a sense of humor above the "you're gay/that's gay/your mom's retarded" is a bit gauche, but maybe we'll try harder. Yes, I think we will.

In keeping with the theme...
To quote Tegan & Sarah: "so jealous."
